ABSTRACT
There is a constant debate between technological advances and the environment. Very different from the Incas, contemporary society, for the most part, is unable to harmonize the natural environment around it with engineering and architecture. This study presents an analysis of the harmful consequences of a society that builds without knowing how to organize itself, without considering the effects that its engineering and architecture have on society in the relatively near future. Floods, landslides, buildings that topple because they are founded on unsuitable ground, airports surrounded by residential buildings, visual pollution from electrical networks, and many other human constructions that reflect the technological advancement of a society without due responsibility and common sense.
