ABSTRACT
In a globalized world where more and more supranational structures perform political countries worldwide, the UN, created in 1945, is now being questioned by the general public for its more than timid action in the face of the war, which directly involves Russia and Ukraine. Many questions arise and try to explain the real reason for such timid action on the part of the UN. Most dare to explain because of hidden interests. In this article, we carried out an analysis that allows us to understand the reasons why the UN remains so inert. In addition to probable interests that serve as speculation, our analysis encompasses a journey into the structure of the UN itself, which highlights that its effectiveness in maintaining World Peace is a questionable objective; therefore, its existence today also becomes questionable.
